st. stephen portrait session (ganong building):: lindsay

meet lindsay. a creative and fun gal who recently graduated from st. stephen's university with first class honours! yup. beautiful and smart! and she just so happened to be my roommate this past year until she moved back to yellowknife (that's in the northwest territories in case you were unsure!).

lindsay kindly looked after my dog ruthie while i was in vancouver bc in february and as a thank you gift i offered her a photo session!! it was perfect timing really, since she was graduating, and what better way to commemorate such a momentous achievement then having captured who you are at that time!! and, for anyone who knows lindsay, you will agree that these photos capture lindsay perfectly!! they are filled with lindsay-eaque faces and expressions that are lindsay through and through, and her smile will remind you of her very wonderful and infectious laugh!!

i am SO pleased with these pictures! in part because they showcase how i have grown as a photographer over the last year. but moreover because they include one of st. stephen's most historic buildings - the ganong chocolate factory building!!). plus, the exceptionally photogenic model made my job really easy! seriously, lindsay, the camera loves you, and so do i!!

ps: lindsay has this knack for finding amazing shoes on sale. i would pout every time she came home with a swanky new pair because i never seem to have the same luck!! i had hopes that she wouldn't be able to pack all her shoes back to yellowknife... especially the nine west yellow kitten heels she is sporting in some of these photos!
