both kate and chris are acquaintances of mine through church, but within minutes of hanging out with kate while we watched chris' band "will power" play at a pub one night, i knew i wanted to be friends with this couple! oh my goodness have we laughed!!!
and oh my goodness do these photos make me smile! kate and chris... you are one lovely and in love couple! i cannot wait to photograph your wedding!
i have never had an easier time capturing the sheer joy and love a couple shares. there was no coaxing, no suggestions necessary... they simply blocked me out and cherished the time they had to stand next to each and gaze into each other's eyes. i just adore how they look at each, the sweet expressions and glances they exchanged and the tender way in which they interacted... this is what love looks people!
i didn't need to do much to get smile and laughter from kate or chris either! apparently watching me traipse through the forest and duck behind trees to get some artistic angles while a beige trench coat was all the entertainment they needed!! the laughs and big smiles apparently had something to do with me looking like a private investigator or stalker... this get-up i was wearing has gotten me some laughs before, or i have at least been confused for "inspector gadget!"
