Kayelyn and Matthew knew their love was the the real thing one night under the stars in St. Martins. After an evening date of a dinner and movie neither one of them was ready to say goodnight so they spontaneously drove out to St. Martins. They laid out a blanket and sat on the rocky shore while listening to the loons. And then, wait for it... random fireworks went off. As if the evening wasn't already romantic and perfect enough!! Kayelyn writes, "We definitely knew then!"
When their love story was ready to turn another chapter, Matthew planned the "best proposal ever!" One Saturday morning Matthew uncharacteristically disappeared, leaving behind a letter for Kayelyn taped to their bedroom door. It simply said that he wanted Kayelyn to meet him at 10:30am in Apohaqui at the meeting of the two waters so that he could tell her in person how much he loved her. Kayelyn patiently waited for 10:30 before excitedly meeting Matthew at the designated location. As Kayelyn followed the blue trail to the meeting of the two waters, Matthew waited with baited breath. And then, Matthew got down on one knee, asked Kayelyn to marry him and she said yes.
When I emailed Kayelyn and Matthew a few teaser images following their engagement session I told them my first impression of the gallery was that they showcased how lovely/sweet/beautiful they both are and how perfectly they fit together. I am sure anyone that knows them will attest that these images really do capture that, and that they are indicative of Kayelyn and Matthew's relationship!
Kayelyn and Matthew's wedding is next September and I am super stoked to be the one to capture their day! Until then, enjoy these stunners!
