{ENGAGEMENT} Amy and Justin

Amy and Justin have been together for nearly six years after being introduced by a mutual friend. Their first date was spent ridge running, and sparks flew!! They have been together ever since. And, I am sure that to anybody who knows them well this makes perfect sense - the couple of hours that I spent with them during the engagement session revealed the easy-going and relaxed nature they both possess, as well as the deep appreciation they have for one another making them a perfect match. In their own words, what Justin loves most about Amy is that she makes his lunches for him before work (*smile*) and that she supports him in all his decisions. Amy writes that "Justin makes the best out of every situation and he never has a bad thing to say about another person."

Amy and Justin both knew they had found "the one" when Justin had spent time working out west. Amy writes "When Justin had to work out west being apart for so long was too hard!" One night while making dinner together at home Justin proposed i the sweetest way (wait for it, yes pun is intended)... Amy loves chocolate pudding - they even have a whole drawer dedicated to this delicious dessert, and at some point during the evening Justin had placed the ring in the  pudding drawer for Amy to find.

They have created a home with one another, adopted an adorable mutt named Buddy, and now they are preparing to say "I DO" before their best family and friends, and committing to being one another's  only love for the rest of their lives!

I had such a fantastic time with Amy and Justin the other night, capturing their love and photographing them amongst the places that they love and spend most of their time together - their home in Beaver Harbour and a secluded little beach area  just down the lane from their home and over-looking the harbour. And I cannot wait to photograph their August wedding! It's going to be beautiful as Amy and Justin exchange promises surrounded by their mutual love - the outdoors!

Love & Sunshine,
Shannon-May
