{ENGAGED} Keisha and Andrew

This past July 1st marked the two year anniversary since Keisha and Andrew first met. Their friends set up the match, thinking they would be a good fit for one another... "Guess they were right" Keisha wrote! When Andrew first laid eyes on Keisha he thought to himself "Damn! Look at the smokin' little redhead!" while Keisha was thinking something equally cheeky: "Wow! Who's the new hottie in town!" They spent much of their first meeting talking about boats and Keisha's pets... Keisha being every so thankful that Andrew was not scared off by her "inner cat lady!!" I love hearing these details about when a couple first met!

When asked how they knew that this was it, Keisha reflected on some difficulties they experienced in  their growing relationship and how they came through together, and were happier and stronger despite it all. Keisha writes: "I knew if we could handle something that tough we can handle each other for life!" Brilliant... seriously, this is a big part of what marriage is about, right?

Both Keisha and Andrew love the ocean so it made total sense that we would spend their engagement session in Saint Andrews-By-The-Sea near the ocean! We spent sometime at a trail they like to walk together before heading to the wharf. Andrew used to be apart of the Jolly Breeze crew so he had arranged for us to spend sometime on the boat, and the light was hitting it ever so perfectly making for some pretty lovely photographs.

I can't wait for Keisha and Andrew's wedding this August. Until then, enjoy these lovebirds and wish them joy as they prepare for the next chapter in their love story to begin!
