{WEDDING} Michelle and Brandon

Michelle and Brandon were destined to meet. He was in her residence building at university all the time hanging out with his best friend and Michelle even went trick-or-treating at his house once long before they actually met. It wasn't until a mutual friend held a party that their paths finally crossed. The first time they laid eyes on each other Michelle was wearing a particular Halloween costume that made it very difficult for Branden to forget this girl, in fact on their first date together it was one of things that he spent time complimenting her on!!

Michelle knew just by looking at Brandon that he was a really nice guy, and before they had even exchanged "I love yous" she knew that he was some the one she would spend the rest of her life with.  And obviously Branden felt the same way because last fall he planned the perfect engagement! Michelle writes: "It was soooo cute. My parents were staying at our house and he staged a family photo. He dropped the ring box but I thought it was  the cover to my perfume bottle. He set the timer and stood beside me. Just a second before the timer went off, he got down on one knee. I wish he had set it to video so I could remember all the wonderful things he said!! At least I have a picture of it!"

On July 7th their wedding day was here. Amongst the flurry of activity at her parent's home Michelle shined with joy!! And she beamed with love as she began her walk down the aisle towards Brandon. Seriously, I think the images of Michelle walking down the aisle are my absolute favourite from the entire wedding as well as from every wedding I have had the privilege of photographing! The way she looks at Brandon is indicative of a woman in love with her best friend and the man with whom she feels safe. Brandon reciprocates with a look of adoration.

Michelle and Brandon's wedding was a real celebration of love and the union of two families. Brandon's family and closest friends traveled from Ottawa to share in the celebrations and they were welcomed with open arms by Michelle's family. Together they all celebrated the new beginning that Michelle and Brandon have embarked upon and their joy for these two was written all over their faces!  Their wedding was also an international affair, drawing on the strengths of wedding professionals in both St. Stephen, New Brunswick and Calais, Maine!!
